During the month of April, Moneypit, Inc. (aka Fitertown) will be transitioning its dialup access service from our old location in Miami Beach, to our new location in Opa Locka, FL. With this transition will come the retiring of our Portmaster dialup server, and the bringing up of a new Ascend system. We hope that our customers will find this change to be for the better, as our new modems are on a digital connection, which facilitates higher connect speeds.

The new dialup number is 305-423-1000. In addition the new Moneypit, Inc. voice number is now 305-423-1004. Please feel free to call during this transition period for any technical assistance you might need, or drop an email to support@moneypit.net.

Instructions are presented below on how to configure your Windows client to connect. Macintosh and Unix users, please use the basic information above, and migrate your settings.

1. Double click on My Computer
2. Double click on Dial-Up Networking
3. Double click on Make New Connection

4. Enter in a profile name, i.e. Moneypit, and select your modem.
5. Click Next

6. Enter in the area code and phone number. 305-423-1000
7. Click Next.

8. Click Finish.
9. Right click on the profile you just created and select properties.
10. Select Server Types from the upper tab

11. Deselect all options except for Enable Software Compression, and TCP/IP.
12. Click on TCP/IP Settings....

13. Make sure that Server Assigned IP Address, Server Assigned Namer Server Addresses, Use IP Header Compression, and Use Default Gateway on Remote Network are all selected.
14. Click OK

15. Click OK
You are now be configured to dial into Moneypit, Inc.
